Founder & CEO
Ferragamo Packaging, Inc. was founded by Chris Ferragamo Jr in 1998. Chris has a long history of experience in the rigid packaging industry. Chris is a graduate of University of Southern California ’86 and in his senior year he was an intern with one of the current major packaging distribution firms.Chris went on to work this company until 1992 developing expertise in packaging distribution. Chris then joined Poly-Seal Corporation (currently Berry Plastics) in 1992 as regional sales manager for the Western United States. Poly-Seal Corporation was an injection molder of plastic caps. His major customers at that time were Clorox, Dial Corporation, Hunt Wesson Foods, Neutrogena/J&J, Giorgio of Beverly Hills, and Redken to name a few.During his tenure at Poly-Seal Chris worked with expert Packaging Engineering staffs developing new packaging for their unique industries. This translated well to starting Ferragamo Packaging, Inc. in 1998. Chris now works with small to medium firms that do not have professional Packaging staffs to help them in packaging selection and problem solving.
Co-Founder
Chris Ferragamo III – Chris III is the son of Chris Jr. His customers know him as Gino, his family nickname. Gino is a graduate of Chico State University in Northern California. He graduated as a Civil Engineer. Gino worked as a Civil Engineer for a couple years and decided that he enjoyed selling and being in front of customers. Gino has a natural talent for troubleshooting mechanical problems and offering effective solutions.
